Flying over Kluane National Park and more

I am now back in Whitehorse.  the driving days are over. tomorow some last things to see in town and then the moment arrivés on Monday  morning that I have to bring back this great travel home on wheels. I will miss it  ;-)

I am at the same camground as my first night and you can see the tourist season started now really.  more then 3 weeks ago  There were only 6 campers and now it is fully booked with 60 sites.

I went to a Cultural display center of First Nations in Haines Junction

 then on the way to Kathleen Lake.for a short detour.

the road goes to Haines Alaska but that will be for another holiday around here

 furter on the alaskan highway.

I didn't do much plainspotting yet so decided to have a look at Haines Junction Airport. there was only 1 plane. The pilot saw me taking pictures and he told he would leave soon with 2 persons for a tour over Kluane national park. He told there was space for a person more but he would leave in 5 minutes

so 2 minutes later I was in the plain. Payment could be after the flight.

It is really beautifull in the sky above that natural park

 lots of long glaciers.  somethimes glaciers join forces

 I looks like a small glacier from the plane but it is here 3 km wide

 This was the end of the glacier similair as I had picutres before only now high from the sky.

And and then back to the car because I skipped drinking and lunching for the flight

I had bought grapples. no clue what it was but I'm Always curious for those kind of things.

Well it is a apple flavoured with grape.  So an apple that taste like a grape.

I work in the flavour business but my suggestion is :

If you want grape taste buy grapes and if you want to eat an apple buy a normal apple.

Since there were 4 in the package I asked my neighbour on the campground if his kids likes these grapples and yes the did so I gave them quickly away.

So except the grapple it was a perfect day again.
