Inuvik

Hi all. hard to find internet around here. now on the phone at the airport. It is great out here. The dempster highway is very beautifull. and all cars and licensplates have the same color here brown gray muddy.

Forget to tell. If you click on where have I been in the links part then you can see my travels untill now.  ( it doesn't work with all browsers I think but google chrome does work for me.  No pictures today. I'm use a computer in the local library.

Inuvik is a strange town.  campground is fenced and guarded 24/24.  Lots of vandalism.  But lots of people without a job brings that.  But outside that it is nice to be here and the people are nice.  I got a paper that I'm now member of the arctic travelers. will show that later. the next days will be no internet again. I think.  I prefer to stay on state campgrounds but that is more or less only a place in the wood where you can park you car without water or power.  but around here you don't see many campgrounds with power.  But I prefer the  state ones.  two days ago I entered a campground and  first thing I saw was warning that a bear was there often.  I found a spot were I could see fresh scratches on  a tree.  picked that site next to it , camera next to me in my sleeping cabine. but no bear. pitty.
